STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is seeking to recruit a full-time Operator to handle  dice,    raw line and finished goods and support material , spare parts, 3rd party, equipment, gases at the Company Stores  Besides other stores related tasks, the selected candidate will be accepting deliveries and updating the Company software

The working pattern (4 shift (DDRO), central shift, etc.) varies depending on the Stores that the candidate will be working in. 

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Unloading GIT on a daily basis, including:
  • Checking for any damages to outer packaging
  • Confirming the right quantities
  • Transfer to location
• Managing FIFO and preparing reservations
• Ensuring physical stocks available in the warehouse are shown correctly in the Company software stock management system
• Managing  stock takes  appropriately
• Managing scrap in an appropriate manner, palletizing and labeling
• Co-ordinating with area responsible daily Lean AVP KPI results
• Participating in Gemba Walks
• Performing QC sampling
• Preparing consumables stock situation at start of shift
• Performing PIT, Pick, Pack, Palletization
• Supporting other stores as requested

The candidate will also need to manage the forklift operation in the plant for Global Logistics & Warehouse Operations (GLWO) warehouse.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate shall:

• Have a minimun post secondary  level of education
• Preferably possess O level passes in Mathematics, English and Computing (ECDL)
• Have a technical background 
• Be capable of using databases and Microsoft tools (especially Outlook & Excel)
• Have good communication skills and an analytical approach
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of maturity, motivation and initiative
• Be able to work in a team
• Be flexible to work as required within the various warehouse sections
• Be able to work and accustomed to a warehouse environment and has to be able to manage normal warehouse operations

Candidates are expected to do lifting as part of their normal course of work.

Ability to use forklift will be considered an asset.
