Microcontrollers & Digital ICs Group (MDG) contributes to many of ST’s strategic goals for Industrial, Personal Electronics and Communications Equipment. MDG represents about one third of ST’s business.
MDG represents around 3 000 employees (mainly R&D teams in France) located in 40 countries, with a revenue of above
3 billion dollars in 2020. It is addressing 2 major activities: first, General Purpose (GP) Microcontrollers, Memories and Secure Micro (MMS Subgroup) covers all products based on Non-Volatile Memory technologies. It represents 80% of MDG business and second, The RFC Sub-Group focusing on Radio Frequency, Digital & Mixed Signals activities, represents 20% of MDG business.
The MDG Group HR assistant/ apprentice's missions are :
- Support MDG Group HR teams in their daily topic
- Establish an MDG On Boarding tool kit for all newcomers
- Consolidation and reporting of HR data
- Analyse the yearly Employee Satisfaction/ Engagement survey & follow up on Employee Survey Action plans for each sites/ division
- Follow up of the BeST MDG Group HR Web site including : Recruitment/ On Boarding/ Employee Survey results & Action plans
- Launch of some Training materials for managers about MDG HR best practices (HR processes, remote working, home office, etc.)
- Help to develop & exchange good HR practices between MDG sites
- Participation to the definition of the schools/ universities list in France & WW,
- Master Degree (in preparation via apprenticeship) in Human Resources
- Good interpersonal skills and good written and oral communication

Your apprenticeship rhythm is a minimum of 3 days per week in the company or 2 weeks out of 3 per month
