Job description

STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is seeking to recruit HRBPs (Human Resources Business Partners) within the HR Department to strengthen the services provided to employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Defining HR action plans, based on business requirements:
    • You will coach managers, enabling them to take actions for creating and maintaining a successful, engaging, healthy and safe environment within their perimeter.
    • You will ensure HR proximity to the employees by taking appropriate measures.
  • Carrying out all the HR processes linked to the annual cycle within the perimeter according to time, cost and quality.
    • You will collaborate with and challenge the managers
  • Identifying change management activities within the business area, driving and/or facilitating the change with any appropriate measure(s) and controlling the sustainability of change processes
  • Identifying and selecting talents and follow-up of their development.
  • Advising and supporting managers and employees on career development (support individual development plan(s), promotions)
  • Providing support in the implementation of HR functions more closely to the managers and employees

Profile

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate shall:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a subject related to the role (ex. HR, training, knowledge management, etc.)
  • Have 5 years+ working experience in a similar role (HR)
  • Have experience in using HR software and O365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps, etc.)
  • Be knowledgeable of Maltese employment law
  • Have a good understanding of HR tools, programs, and services across the end-to-end employee journey
  • Be people-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be able to deliver effective training and communication sessions
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Maltese
  • Possess the below:

    • Emotional intelligence & empathy
    • Openness to D&I
    • Developing relationships
    • Ability to work independently

Basic knowledge of Italian will be considered an asset.
