The purpose of the trainee program is to train graduates and young professionals to become sales engineers at ST, with the objective to grow STs sales revenues and market share inside a defined area of responsibility.
The two years program begins with a short internal training period inside affiliated departments. Afterwards, the trainee will be fully integrated in a sales team. Working with account sales for the AP GKA activities in EMEA. The trainee gradually takes over responsibility for following activities:
Internally to manage / follow-up mainly with application/technical activities with local supporting team, product divisions and AP sales organization.
Analyze customer evolution and application roadmaps in order to anticipate changes, and forecast business accordingly.Select and prioritize applications/products to focus on, and define an action plan to succeed in product development road map and time to market.
Externally to manage /follow-up with customers for application/technical activities and the customer relations .Identify new business opportunities and support to turn those into design-ins/wins. 
Analyze the market environment, define and drive support from Product Groups and Marketing, to succeed in new projects, ensuring future business growth.
To support commercial negotiation with customer in cooperation with involved Product Divisions and various internal departments.



  •  Engineering degree, with Electronics/Semiconductor major/minor/light experience.
    Candidate should be fluent in English in order to work / communicate with customers locating across Europe and product divisions.
