We offer a great chance to be part of a fast-growing development team, opening opportunities for a successful career inside the General-Purpose Microcontroller Sub-Group.

You will join a dynamic and structured team in charge to develop hardware solutions at the heart of Wi-Fi processing unit into STM32 microcontroller wireless product family.

As a member of the RF analog team, you will be responsible for:

·       Translating Schematics to mask Layouts
·       Managing Layout floor-planning, placement and routing
·       Performing LVS, DRC, ERC, DENSITY, DFM and all required verifications
·       Collaborating in top-level Layout integration
·       Contributing to tape out process, which involves generation of bond diagram/RDL, final clean GDS database and proper documentation
·       Scheduling and reporting your activities
·       Coordinating the activity of IC layout with assigned resources
·       Coaching and mentoring junior design engineers

You will be joining the General-Purpose Microcontroller Sub-Group (GPM), the largest division at ST Microelectronics and the world leader in the microcontroller market supported by our STM32 products.

PROFILE REQUIRED:

•  BS degree with 5+ years of related work experience
  • Deep experience in Back-End Layout Design for deep sub-micron CMOS technologies; experience with SOI process nodes preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of analog layout best practices such as common centroid layout, shielding, use of dummy devices, thermal aware layout with consideration for electromigration, critical matching, latch-up, ESD; RF layout experience preferred.
  • Deep expertise on Layout flow with Cadence Virtuoso XL, Mentor Graphics Calibre tools and UNIX environment.
  • Knowledge of skill code and layout automation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of electrical circuit concepts such as current, voltage, resistance, inductance, capacitance.
  • Ability to communicate with peers, managers, and project stakeholders effectively using both verbal and written communications.
  • Open minded and enjoy working in a team.
  • Rigorous, motivated and desire to propose innovative and competitive ideas for the development of new successful products.
