Job description

Microcontrollers & Digital ICs Group (MDG) contributes to many of ST’s strategic goals for Industrial, Personal Electronics and Communications Equipment. MDG represents about one third of ST’s business. MDG is the world's leading manufacturer of microcontrollers and a leader in embedded SIM cards and EEPROM. It’s focuses on the market for contactless NFC products and RF mixed signal technologies.

MDG represents around 3 000 employees (mainly R&D teams in France) located in 40 countries, with a revenue of above

3 billion dollars in 2020. It is addressing 2 major activities: the General-Purpose Microcontroller subgroup, the Memory Division, and the Secure Microcontroller Division, which covers products based on non-volatile memory technology and accounts for about 80% of MDG's revenue. Then, the Radio Frequency and Communication sub-group, which focuses on RF, Digital & Mixed Signals activities, representing about 20% of MDG activities.

You will join the MDG Quality System & Programs team in Grenoble, within the MDG Quality & Reliability department.

As a Quality Management System program manager, you will:

- Contribute to the analysis, implementation, deployment and maintenance of the customer specifications, ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ST key processes & SOP, and other standards applicable to MDG organization. 

- Act as Product Development Process (both for HW & SW) champion, contribute to the process evolution, manage deployment & trainings, and run internal audits

- Propose, define & drive transversal quality prevention & improvement projects across MDG, and contribute to some corporate programs (programs can be linked to some product development or production areas, key customers, specific industry domains, quality strategy and innovation)


Strong experience in semiconductor product development (As program manager, or product engineering, product qualification, design leader, marketing…)


Demonstrated program management skills, collaboration & communication


ISO/IATF knowledge, and auditor qualification/experience would be a plus
