Job description

WWDC Infra Services having 260+ Biz/Mfg Applications across 2 Datacenters (on Prem) & on Cloud.

WWDC Production Team Lead focuses on managing 24x7 Datacenter IT operations to the highest standard and keep on improving these services & presents the services to all the stakeholders, keep good relationships, and keep them satisfied. It is a both technical and administrative role.


Take ownership of and deliver operational level agreements (OLA) and assure KPIs are met.
Manage Supplier to ensure 24x7 support as per agreed SLA & present KPIs to Management via customized reports.
Leverage experience in developing and rolling out service improvement plan both for internal & external.
Lead Incident Management (ITIL Terminology) for all major Datacenter Incidents or ITP’s (Interruption to Production) which involves owning of an incident and tracking the same to closure.
Provides expert Problem management and ensures root-cause analysis with relevant teams is conducted with corrective / preventive action plans that are tracked with learnings applied for future benefit.
Change Management: Receives, assess, facilitate approval and overall end to end change management process to ensure only approved changes are deployed into production environment.
Multidimensional Analysis of OMI Alerts/Incidents/Change & creating customized reports and work with different domains for optimization.
Facilitate communications between different teams where needed for special circumstances e.g., customer problems, service issues etc.
Leverage various tools & technologies for effective performance.
DR Planning & testing
Coordinate with all other L2 teams, platform, and applications teams to drive Stability and take collaboration initiatives to improve.
Ensured operations control, overseeing execution & monitoring of operational activities and events.
Develop and interpret policies, procedures and strategies governing operation of IT services, provide expert advice, guidance, and recommendations to management.


Must have skills:

Experience in running operations with ITIL processes / ITIL certified.
Excellent understanding of Linux system administration.
Having experience on Public cloud (preferably Azure)
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent Business Communication skills
Creative thinking in implementing Service improvements (Automation, Incident reduction, etc.)
Experience on Batch Scheduling
Understanding & interpretation of high-level architecture, data center setup, virtualization, and UML diagrams.

Good to have skills:

Experience on Storage, Networking and backup devices would be an advantage
Administration of Scheduling agent Tivoli Workload scheduler is a Plus
