STMicroelectronics has the need for an Office Manager in the Fremont, CA office to provide support for ST's procurement organization for the success and continuation of growth and success in making a difference in people’s lives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform purchasing operations for the Fremont site using SAP and Purchasing Card
• Interface with ST’s procurement organization and publish monthly reports
• Maintain records of purchases to assist in development of budgets
• Ship any items via Fedex, UPS, USPS or other carriers as required
• Maintain a fleet of specialty shipping canisters and interface with cleaning operation
• Maintain stock of supplies and consumables
• Organize and maintain office, shipping and dock areas
• Aid in performance of safety audits
• Assist in audits when required by regulatory agencies
• Write and implement operating procedures and work instructions as needed
• Support R&D and process development activities in the engineering group
• Use software tools to track and control inventory, publish regular reports
• Maintain certifications for dangerous goods handling and shipping

 

PROFILE REQUIRED:

  •  Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5 years of relevant experience preferably at a technology company
    • Fluent in MS Office and experience with SAP a plus
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Team player
    • Reliable with a very good attitude (motivated, positive, results-oriented)
  •  4 - Bachelor degree
  •  6-10 years
