Ensure that Safety rules are observed by all team members
Review equipment performances (Downtime, TPR, First Pass Yield, Index Time, Parallel Loss)
Assign technical resources on tasks according to priorities / resource availability / skill
Provide technical guidance / coaching to the team
Drive to improve the effectiveness of interventions & equipment utilization;
Improve and promote better Housekeeping in the area, including the workshops.
Planning for skill development of the team
Provide shift downtime / maintenance interventions reporting to management
Provide feedback & recommendations for improvement
Perform interventions to maximize test cell performance
Ensure that Release to Production procedures are being adhered to by all team members
People management - staff are regularly assessed and action taken to improve their direct and organizational performance
• Possess an MQF Level 4 Qualification in a Technical/Engineering related subject or comparable certifications together with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within the manufacturing industry.*
• Have a good command in English, both written and verbal.
• Possess good technical knowledge of assembly manufacturing equipment.
• Be able to prioritize tasks according to urgency / workload, based on production & quality goals.
• Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Be responsible and mature.
• Possess an excellent exemplary record history.
• Be smart and task/goal oriented.
• Be flexible, adaptable to needs and able to take decisions based on inputs.
