You will be a key contributor to SiC Technology volume ramp-up in ST as part of the Industrial Engineering team of the new SiC Substrates Fab in Catania.

Main Activities of the IE team:

·         Create and maintain the Fab capacity model to be used for production control and Industrial Eng purposes (layout, capacity figures, material routing, etc.)

·         Provide Line Capacity data for Corporate Planning/Costing systems

·         Monitor Fab performance by KPI management and develop the most efficient strategies to maximize the productivity of people, machines, materials (OEE, Cycle Time Improvement, WIP & material management…)

·         Evaluate equipment requirements for Capacity investments

·         Contribute to the automation solutions

·         Work closely with manufacturing planning, production, engineering and quality to achieve output delivery performance and manufacturing efficiency

Candidates that best fit this role should have/be:

Master or Bachelor's degree ideally in Management Engineering or equivalent with experience in IE activities in manufacturing environment
·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·         Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

·         Open mindedness and ability to drive change

·         Strong team working skills

·         Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite/ Be very proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

·         Basic knowledge of Project Management principles

·         Skills on Programming languages/Autocad/Data Analysis/Simulations tools is a plus

·         Knowledge of Lean/Agile methods and techniques is a plus
