The Microcontrollers & Digital ICs Group (MDG) is at the heart of ST’s strategy for safer and smarter embedded technology in the Industrial, Personal Electronics and Communications Equipment markets.

About RFC

The RF and Communication business (RFC) develops innovative solutions to serve the fast-growing worldwide communication and connectivity markets serving satellites, data communication and mobile networks.

By joining this division, you will have a strong role in shaping the industry by contributing to the development of our next generation products using the most advanced technologies.

Main Responsibilities 

The thesis scope will be in the DFT/physical implementation context.

DFT (design for test) consists in a set of techniques (ATPG, BIST,…) for inserting test structures on a netlist (typically Verilog), using appropriate IT tools, before the physical implementation.

In case of no time constraints also the physical implementation flow will be covered during the thesis

Who are we looking for:

University: Electronic Engineering  (or Computer Engineering with Digital Design studies)

Digital Design,

Basis of programming language,

Strong sense of teamwork

Knowledge of English language 

Knowledge of scripting languages and SW programming object oriented is considered a plus
