Job description

The candidate will strongly contribute to define and develop the ST’s simulation software dedicated to the Power Transistor and Power Module devices.

The responsibility for the software development is of essence and goes from tool definition to the implementation architectures to the debug and validation of the simulation tool.

In the position he will develop systems and architectural know-how for several application topologies, aimed to define new software characteristics and functionalities.

Moreover, he will strongly support Marketing and Sales as technical interface in front of the customer during the design-in activity with dedicated simulations and with benchmarks based on simulation versus the main competitors.

Finally, he will help maintain and promote the simulation software developing and deploying promotional material and technical documentation.

Profile

Desired Competencies are: Major Programming Languages, Bench Characterization Know-how, System architecture evolution awareness, Fluent Power Electronics, Orcard or similar software and software for computational analysis.

Other skills: Flexibility / adaptivity to changing working environment, Discipline & Results Orientation, Sense of urgency & Initiative, Knowledge Sharing, Teamwork, Ability to work autonomously retrieving all the relevant tools/info, availability to travel.
