As an intern you will play a key role in helping to secure ST customer commitments and win business by working with our FAE's (Field Applications Engineers) and marketing teams to support customers’ engineering teams who are developing a wide variety of applications. The primary area of focus will be MCU (microcontroller) applications across a wide range of electronic markets using ST’s ARM Cortex-M based STM32 family.

Profile

Minimum Requirements

  • Student currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering
     

To be effective in this role, the intern is expected to:

  • Work closely with the FAE and marketing teams to align proper product offering to end customer opportunities
  • Take customers’ designs to revenue by providing prompt and thorough technical support assistance to the FAE and marketing teams for on-going design activity
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience that includes microcontroller hardware and firmware
  • Code development and debugging skills in assembly and embedded C
  • Hardware troubleshooting skills using an oscilloscope, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers and signal generators
  • Experience with peripherals such as USART, SPI, I2C, USB in addition to analog peripherals that include ADC, DAC, comparators, and operational amplifiers
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills; Proficiency in English is mandatory
