 POSTING PRESENTATION:

As Application Engineer, you have the responsibility to define the strategy to validate the new products in the real application environment, for both LV MOSFET and VIPower HSDs with the embedded fuse function (STi2Fuse). In addition, You’ll support the products promotion by working on the definition and development of product demonstrators and promotional tools.

What will you be responsible for with us?
Strong technical knowledge in analog, power, and digital electronics
Full knowledge of the major Automotive Standards, Application and System Architectures as well as the clear and solid understanding of adopted technologies for the identification of new products.
Design of test applications
Preparation of technical materials and detailed reports
Communication with customers
Technical support – design of solutions and suitable components, application debugging
Conducting technical seminars
Communication with ST internal development teams
Definitions of new products
Finding limitations and minimizing them in new and old products
The function will also contribute - in strong cooperation with the Divisional Marketing & R&D teams, and with the Regional Marketing & Application teams – to the new products proposal conception and specification.

PROFILE REQUIRED:

•  
  General knowledge of electronics (understanding of electrical diagrams, DC and high frequencies MOSFET applications, Standard and SPI communication interfaces with uC)
  An open mind – the ability to invent and implement unique solutions to non-standard technical problems (internal and customer)
  Flexibility, responsibility and feeling for priority setting.
  Strong sense of urgency and capacity to define priorities in the daily job
  Ability to work in Team
