STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Senior Manager (T&F) within the Testing and Finishing Department. 

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• To drive and coordinate the activities related with test, burn-in and finishing maintenance engineering teams in order to achieve BEM&T targets on efficiency, quality, cost and service.

• The mission of the department is to ensure the standardization of test and finishing methodology, optimize test and finishing through-put, maintain high quality performances & yield and provide technical support to production testing and finishing.

• Yield, downtime, cost and quality are directly related to T&F equipment. The main responsibility is to create a more efficient organization, focusing on preventive maintenance and people know how in order to improve yield, reduce the downtime and cost.

• Responsible for the safe maintenance and uptime of production equipment, cost saving initiatives and digitization of current manual processes. Reporting to the T&F Director, being responsible to manage maintenance of overall Test, Burn-In and finishing equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate shall:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering related subject;
• Have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the manufacturing industry;
• Have strong people management skills;
• Be knowledgeable in automation and industry 4.0 process including lean manufacturing;
• Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Possess excellent leadership skills to lead the team.
